Moms, Dads & Tots offers age-appropriate lessons in creative expression and movement through the use of music, playful games and gymnastics apparatus. This class provides a wonderful opportunity to create unique bonding experiences and memories to last a lifetime. Moms, Dads & Tots encourages parental involvement to provide toddlers with a comfortable environment in preparation for entrance into independent gymnastics classes.
TINY TUMBLERS
2.5 - 3 years old
This is a transitional class for those 2.5 - 3 year olds that have previously completed at least one session of a parent/toddler class and have been recommended by the teacher. These students must be good listeners as they will be moving through obstacle courses and circuits independently. They’ll move to music, songs and beats. They’ll use scaled down equipment and learn basic skills on all apparatus. This program also focuses on large and fine motor skills, numbers, shapes, colors and letters. Students will participate in cooperative games and learn about sharing and taking turns. It’s a great class for them to try whether they are in preschool yet or not, as it is complimentary to what children are learning in local schools.
SUPERTUMBLERS
3 - 5 years old
This independent pre-school program focuses on movement education and creative expression. In this 45 minute class, modified gymnastics apparatus is utilized to create a specially designed program for pre-school children. The class is structured with a lesson plan for every two weeks and also includes theme weeks to make learning fun. Basic gymnastics will be learned in a fun playful way with the help of music and games to further develop self-confidence and spatial awareness.
SUPERDUPERTUMBLERS
3 - 5 years old
This independent intermediate level program runs for one hour and is much like our Supertumblers course. Students continue to build physical fitness and develop endurance and coordination. A lesson plan is followed for two weeks to create a structured learning environment. Theme weeks encourage growth in students by making gymnastics exciting and fun. Prior gymnastics experience is recommended.
